We are requesting your donations to be able to conduct annual weed abatement in 2024 and beyond, please consider setting up a recurring (or one-time) tax-deductible year-end donation now through our website.
We've had a successful 2023:
- $11K raised to clear the weeds along the road easement.
- $227K was spent on road easement fuel clearing up to Circle R,
- $26K cleared several acres of land at the epicenter of the 2017 fire on Mead Ranch.
We have secured $200k to complete the road easement clearing from Circle R to the end of the road in the spring of 2024
- These NCFF grant funds and Napa County Fire efforts are focused on fuel reduction which includes removing brush and limbing up trees in addition to removing hazardous trees which may fall and impede road traffic in case of emergency. Weeds are not in the scope of work. The annual weed clearing along the road easement is funded by your donations.
